Alas... Holiday Plaza..

Holeee Crap... I never knew that it could happen. But it did. That stronghold of piracy, that defender of all things unoriginal, that bane of Hollywood, the middle child that the parents of Microsoft would love to beat with a gardening hose...

Im talking about Holiday Plaza.

To those of you who dont know what Holiday plaza is, (for shame!) its a shopping complex which houses one of THE most unimprenetable fortress of pirated shit that literally would make a hard-ass executive at Hollywood ball up and cry! Thats right! Cry! With real tears even.

Of course, I say unimprenetable when in reality, its just like any other place selling illegal pirated goods: Prone to raids.

Movies, dvds, cds, games, clothes. You name it, it's probably either pirated or pirated. Im not even surprised if the chicken in KFC is actually duck. And I sure as hell wont be surprised if the burgers in the McD are actually made from llama meat. Thats right. Llama meat! The horror. (not really.)

I've known HP ever since I was a small kid. During the early nineties, it was called Kimisawa. At the time, there were no vds, no dvds. Only crappy ass vcr videos. That place is literally a maze. When I was a kid, I used to to think that zombies live in the parking lots of that place. But now I discover, The Management hired them to be the cleaners and security guards and parking attendants.

The government just recently pulled off one of its biggest, if not THE biggest heist on that place since... since... I cant really remember!

Anyway, Management must be pissing in its pants right now as we speak. Not that I really care. Im not much of a dvd person and software-wise, what I need, I download. But just imagine, 30% of the tenants are actually pirated shit sellers and right now, because of the raids and such, they're either closed or having about as much business as a guy selling recycled toilet paper. Like I said, Management - Pissing in pants. I mean, 30% is a lottt of revenue in rental and other stuff.

Well anyway, I popped over there yesterday to look for some PSP game for my nephew and man, I tell ya, I can see a lot of dissapointed faces. People go to HP for one thing and one thing. And that is, you guessed it, pirated shit. Movies, software, the usual. Ask a random JB person and he'll say the best place for shit like this is HP.

And now... it has lost everything. For the moment. If I know Holiday Plaza, pirated shit will always.be.there. No question.

And if it doesnt, then like it's like they say, 'Oh how the mighty have fallen'.
